I got to go to The Beastie Boys concert earlier this week. Dana took me cuz she got free tickets from The Beasties' publicist, who is also Spoon's publicist....hence the free tickets since she works for Spoon's management.
The show was awesome! I forgot how much I used to love The Beastie Boys. I was in the 2nd row...so close. They are getting old, but they still rock it. They looked like they were having so much fun. At one point Ad Rock messed up....and they had to start the song over.
We got to be in the VIP area....free beer and cheese. It was cool, and reminded me that i want to be in a band again. These pics kinda suck cuz they were taken with my camera phone. Luckily I was close enough that they came decent.

It sounds like it was a great time. It's great to have good friends who think of you when they have something terrific to share. Your pictures tell the story of just how much fun you were having.
